The Fifa Club World Cup UAE 2009 official emblem has been unveiled on Tuesday at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The 6th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup 2009, sponsored by Toyota, will take place in Abu Dhabi from 9 to 19 December 2009.

ITALY (host nation in 1934) did not take part in the first ever FIFA World Cup in 1930 coz there was no qualifying matches at that time. the first ever FIFA World Cup tournament in URUGUAY in 1930 was open to all national teams affiliated with FIFA & many European teams declined to take part due to the duration and cost of travel. only 4 European teams (BELGIUM, YUGOSLAVIA, ROMANIA & FRANCE) agree to take part.
